Choosing the right package
Videocache is available for download in three formats.
- RPM - Binary for rpm based distros like Red Hat, Fedora, CentOS, OpenSuSE etc.
- Source RPM - If you want to build your rpm, you should grab this.
- Compressed Source Archive - In case your distro doesn't support RPM, you can download the source archive (.tar.gz) and install videocache using setup file inside. Intended for Ubuntu, Debian, BSD, Mac OS users.
