error.....

i installed videocache for few days.. and it's work for me..

but... after a few days, when open youtube.com or another video it's take long time. when i check my log messages there is error "Kernel : possible SYN flooding on port 9100. sending cookies" i restart my linux box then the video it's work again but after long time the error is come again and i restart again my linux box and it's work again.

what happen ? why i always restart my linux box ?

pls help me..

Hello,

This is a know problem. Actual problem with the XMLRPC Server attached with videocache. But you need not reboot the linux box. You can use the following command to restart XMLRPC Server and everything will be fine.

[root@localhost ~]# killall -9 squid python; service squid start

Though this is not the final solution. But you can try this till I fix the problem in core itself.
