Force video resoution

Is there a way to force video cache to only download youtube videos at 480p or lower?

I have noticed it seems to always download the highest quality setting avaliable for the video, and then feeds it to the viewer no matter what setting they choose.

Many of my network customers are on 512kbit plans that are not fast enough to support 720p video.
But they are quite happy watching a video at 360p or 480p. But if the video is cached, they are forced to watch it at 720p and it makes their internet connection very slow.

Thanks.

Hi Ray,

This issue has emerged very recently. Last week or so. We acknowledge this and are already working on a patch. We'll provide an option, using which you can force the video quality you want to cache.

Thank You!
