running squid on diff port breaks videocache

Hello.

Today I noticed that I was getting a log of download errors and realized that yesterday I had change squid to run on a different port, 3138, I changed videocache.conf' proxy to ip:3138 to see if it fixed the problem but it didn't.

So, videocache doesn't like squid to run on a different port other than 3128?

Hi!

The problem is not with videocache. Videocache doesn't care on which port squid listens. We have a setup here in which squid is listening on port 8080. You need to restart squid and videocache service after you make changes to videocache.conf file.

Thank You!
