Hello!

Go and buy the hard disk. You'll not lose any data. Just move your /var/spool/videocache/ to the newly bought hdd (say you moved it in /videocache). Now change the base_dir option to /videocache/ in /etc/videocache.conf and run the update-vc command. Thats it!!!

Thank you for using videocache :)

my question is how big should the videocache.log be? 'coz mine is 3Gb+ for the videocache.log.2 and the videocache.log is aroung 500Mb and still counting.. is it normal? thanks and more power....

Hello,

If you are using the latest version of videocache, you can use the max_logfile_size option to set the maximum size of the logfiles. This is normal. But you can remove the logs to recover disk space if you want.

Thank you for using videocache :)
