Downloads not scheduling

Hi Kulbir.

We are currently suffering from a videocache scheduling issue whereby a limited number of videos are being scheduled for download. The Squid daemon rotates it logs each morning and starts 15 python children. After approx 15 videos are scheduled for download (and completed), no other videos are scheduled until the next squid log rotate. That is to say that "SCHEDULED YOUTUBE Video scheduled for download" does not appear again in the log for the rest of the day. No errors are reported in either the Videocache or Squid logs.

We are currently running Videocache 1.9.7 with Squid 3.1.11 on CentOS 5.5.

Any ideas?

Hello,

Videocache 1.9.8 has addressed the issues due to Squid log rotations and videos not being scheduled after that. Please checkout the new version.
