removed youtube videos

Hello.
Is there a way to continue to view cached Youtube videos after they have been removed due to terms of use violation?

If they are already cached in your proxy server, I think there shouldn't be a problem. You can lookup with the video id of the video.

Before the video was removed,it was cached as ../var/spool/youtube/51250394c051f9d4

I can view it with Xine directly,

but now when I use your program with squid to view the youtube url, I get "This video has been removed due to terms of use violation."

any ideas how to get this to work?

Cyberg,

That is because Youtube knows that it has removed the video and serves the html page accordingly. That can't be helped.
