Youtube problem

Dear Kulbir,

About 3-5 days ago youtube seems had new url and video_id mechanism,
Videocache 1.9.6 can't cache any youtube video.

Here's the log:

There's no url with video-id in the log.

Could you solve it ?

Video id is present in the URLs you have mentioned. Can you please mention the video URLs you visited which resulted in that log?

Hi,

Almost all video in youtube, but with another tube is fine.
Everything was ok, it just came out about a week ago.

I've noticed that in youtube only always store 2 file with different filename for each video-id.

eg: video-id -> ExMkV9Q6c8U
stored : ExMkV9Q6c8U & 13132457d43a73c5
with same size & date

Is this normal? So in youtube there will be double sized in hdd?

Hi!

The file with 16 character name is a hard link to the 11 character video file. So, it doesn't consume twice disk space.
