So I modified python source and added additional squid rule for vimeo. by Anonymous on 1 Jun 2009 hey guys ... i configured my videocache ina fedora 8 . my videos are downloaded in my server ... are saved in tmp folder and her configurated folders how youtube tvuol etc... but my browsers cant load then after cache .... they show me a message: an error occurred" i think my problem is configuration but i dont understand where is "the problem" please helpe-me tannks3 Answers

Internet Explorer show a black screen
by Anonymous on 26 May 2009 Thank you for videocache I have an Ubuntu server box running squid in transparent mode and videocache. Firefox works great, but in Internet Explorer some videos show a BLACK SCREEN, i can see the youtube bar running fine (loading the video) but the screen still black, the video cannot be reproduced. Vimeo not caching
by Anonymous on 7 May 2009 I am having an issue getting Vimeo to cache videos. YouTube, Google Video and Dailymotion test great. I noticed that Vimeo calls a Javascript to run their videos. I was able to find the video source for Vimeo that links directly to the video. Here is the format link: http://vimeo.com/moogaloop.swf?clip_id=4298315 I do not know what to change in the Squid.conf to make Vimeo cache that format address.
