VideoCache is caching videos but not serving !
by Anonymous on 17 Jul 2009 Hello All , I got videocache running on centos 4.7 + squid-2.7STABLE5 + Apache 2.0 , all videos are being cached normally and are visible via apache but when I open any cached website I get a black screen or error please try again in the video window eventhough videocache.log shows a CacheHit!4 Answers

Cache is OK, but when I put on my network,the cache begining to be slow

But i think that i have a simple question... when i put the cache on my network... cache begining to be slow... i dont know why exactly, my cache is running on a Intel Dual Core 2.6GHz, 4gb ddr2, 160Gb SataII, Server Ubuntu 8.04 2.6.24-23-server. My gateway is a machine mikrotik "P4 3.0" and running alright, i just make a dst-nat on 80 port to my Cachevideos server, ...1 Answers
Only cache youtube & tube8
by Anonymous on 12 Jul 2009 I have installed the latest version. Why it did cache youporn, and other sites? It only cache youtube & tube8. The rest weren't cached. And why the squid pass all request to videocache? Did i do something wrong? Thanks0 Answers

Video Pre-Fetch ...

I mean when the client clicks on the video link the squid server downloads the video locally and shows some popup in the client like "Downloading...10%" and when the download is complete it sends the video to the client this could help in better performance with limited bandwidth..0 Answers

parsing request in videocache instead of squid
by mynullvoid on 2 Jul 2009 at the moment all the request are handled by acl in squid; the problem is that I do not know how to set so that that acl is for which redirect program. perhaps anyone of you can help. in the meanwhile, can the parsing is done in the videocache.py instead of in squid. I only able to run videocache with adzapper after commenting out the videcache acl part; special thanks to Cameron Simpson cs@zip.com.au who assist me in this. Thanks man2 Answers
Squid + Adzapper + VideoCache <--- not working
