I don't know what I'm doing wrong since videocache is not caching videos. I also checked /var/spool/videocache/youtube and there isn't anything in there. I changed videcache.conf base_dir = /var/videocache/:120000 | /var/videocache2/:200000 In videocache.log NEW_URL's now are IP/videocache/0/xxxxxxx 2) Is there a possibility to use 2 or more videcache dirs simultaneously ? or first dir must be full then second can be used? if i can't use dirs simultaneously size limitation must work perfect but it's not.1 Answers

by landysaccount on 20 Jan 2010 Hello. I installed videocache with squid3.0STABLE21 on debian Lenny. I was testing it but, didn't see any caching. I watched a youtube video on a pc inside my network then I tried watching the same video (same url) on a different pc on the same network but didn't notice any difference on the speed it loaded.
